Hello Friends,

 

My wife and I moved to Front Royal 2.5 years ago with coveted job offers at the Inn at little Washington. Due to covid and the announcement of her pregnancy with our daughter Maria, I had to leave the restaurant industry in search of a better job. After a difficult year and a half in the meat packing industry we were given the opportunity of a lifetime to purchase a local Italian restaurant whose owner is retiring. Given this tremendous opportunity we decided to share what we have and attempt to build a community around eating and being together. We are inspired by Massimo Bottura's work with Food For Soul, a group that seeks to rediscover forgotten places, reinvent food and restore the dignity of over-looked people!

 

With your donation we will be able to purchase the kitchen and begin our work building a resilient community and a culture of respect and innovation around food. We will be inviting working families, homeless shelters, retirement and nursing homes and anyone we find that will join us for a nourishing meal and conversation around a family table.
