We’re almost across the finish line…

Evesham Rowing and Racquets Club has the once in a life-time chance to buy the Evesham Boathouse and the land it is on, securing its future for generations.

To buy the boathouse we need £90,000, and thanks to our amazing community we’ve already raised £86,000, leaving us with just £4,000 to go!

To help us smash this target, our brilliant members are taking part in a club-wide festive fundraising challenge, clubbing together to travel virtually the 4,215km it is from Evesham to the North Pole, as the crow rows (or flies)!

Throughout December, our members will be contributing to our grand total by:

• Rowing kilometres on the ERGs or out on the water

• Tracking their steps on our tennis and squash courts with pedometers and converting them into kilometres

We hope by converting the kilometres we’re covering to the North Pole to Pounds we can smash the final £4,000 needed to Buy the Boathouse!

Buying the Boathouse will secure the future of our volunteer-run club and protect a vital community space for rowing, tennis, squash, dance, U3A, parent-and-baby groups, and so much more.
