For those who don’t know us, we are Monica, Zeke and Charlie. I’m a single mom and trying my best to support these kids and keep them safe. In October, on my way to a neurologist appointment for myself, I hit a deer and totaled my beautiful Mazda, which I recently took full coverage off because I couldn’t afford it, which left me with a towing bill of $225 and a $300 from the junk yard and no car. My wonderful friends lent me their Vibe so I could still get the kids to school and me to work. Between paying medical bills and propane bills and going to the food bank, we are surviving and I am most grateful. Grateful for the community that has come around us and shown us love. I need to give the car back that I am borrowing and I’m hoping to be able to purchase a used vehicle to keep us safe in Michigan winters and that will reliable for year’s to come. The Honda Pilot is the hope, as it can handle a lot of miles and there are many to choose from used. I’m the mom that doesn’t want her kids to see her struggle, so it’s taken all I have to put this out here. Any help is so very much appreciated, we all thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
