A progress report on our fundraising efforts: as a community, we have successfully raised 200K in donations so far, marking a significant milestone. However, our journey is not complete, as we are actively pursuing the remaining 100K required to secure the desired piece of land.

It's important to clarify that the land we had identified is not meeting our ideal criteria. Our search is ongoing, and we remain dedicated to finding the perfect location. Vermont, known for its natural beauty and cultural diversity, is in need of a space where the local Sanatan/Hindu community can come together to worship, celebrate festivals, and connect with their spirituality. With your support, we can make this dream a reality! VMCC has been operating a weekend temple in a rented facility for the last three years and has the support of the local community.

Our Vision: The Vermont Mandir will be a sacred place for worship, meditation, cultural events and exchange, and education. It will serve as a hub for the Hindu community in Vermont and will be open to everyone interested in learning more about Hindu culture and spirituality. It will promote the ancient Sanatan values of truth, non-violence, peace, and love.

Why We Need Your Help: Establishing a Hindu temple requires significant resources. We are seeking financial assistance to secure a suitable location, construct the temple building, create sacred spaces, and provide the necessary facilities for our community members and visitors.
