My name is Curtis Wheat, and I am a U.S. Army veteran and the founder of Reveille Foundation.

Reveille started with a simple idea: veterans shouldn't have to face their hardest moments alone.

Like many veterans, I understand firsthand that taking off the uniform doesn't mean the battle is over. I have experienced the challenges that can come after military service, and I've also experienced how powerful it can be when veterans are given practical tools, support, and a community of people who truly understand.

That experience inspired me to begin developing Reveille, a mobile app created specifically for veterans struggling with PTSD, anxiety, depression, isolation, and the everyday challenges that can follow military service.

Reveille is being designed to put practical mental wellness resources directly into a veteran's pocket, including tools based on DBT, CBT, CPT, grounding and mindfulness, along with peer connection and pathways to additional veteran and professional resources.

As the idea grew, we realized Reveille could become much more than an app. We are now working toward establishing the Reveille Foundation, a veteran-founded and veteran-led nonprofit organization dedicated to helping veterans find connection, practical support, and resources when they need them.

Our initial leadership represents both the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force, but our mission represents every branch and every veteran.

Funds raised through this campaign will help us continue developing and testing Reveille, strengthen security and privacy, obtain professional review of its mental wellness content, maintain the technology behind it, and ultimately put Reveille into the hands of veterans.

We're building Reveille because sometimes a veteran doesn't need another speech. Sometimes they need a tool, a connection, or a reason to reach out at the exact moment things become difficult.

The mission doesn't end when the uniform comes off.
