Hi, my name is Tanaka Daka, and I’m the co-founder of Heartwave Foundation. At Heartwave, we are dedicated to creating brighter futures for vulnerable children by supporting initiatives like Xtreme Orphanage. Over the past few months, the number of children at the orphanage has grown significantly, and while we are so happy they now have a place to call home, the current living conditions are heartbreaking and far from ideal.

Right now, 35 children share just two small bedrooms. The overcrowding alone is challenging, but what’s even more concerning is the state of the building itself. The roof is severely damaged, with holes that leak heavily during the rainy season. This not only creates discomfort but also exposes the children to health risks like cold and damp conditions, which can lead to illnesses.

We want to change this. We are raising funds to fix the roof and build new bedrooms to give these children a safe, comfortable, and healthy environment where they can thrive. Our goal is to complete the repairs and construction before the next rainy season arrives.

Every child deserves to feel safe, especially in their own home. That’s why we are asking for your help.
