Help Us Build a Place Where Family Stays Together
We are raising funds to create something deeply meaningful: a multigenerational homestead where family can age with dignity, stay connected, and live surrounded by purpose — not placed in facilities, but welcomed at home.
Like so many families, we have faced the difficult reality of what happens when parents and loved ones need more support. The traditional path often leads to separation, institutional care, and loneliness. We believe there is another way.
Our vision is to establish a working homestead where:
• Aging parents can remain close to family, cared for with love and respect
• Future generations can grow up rooted in connection, responsibility, and compassion
• Land is stewarded intentionally — growing food, sharing skills, and living simply
• Rescued animals are given safe, humane lives as part of the healing environment
This will not just be a home. It will be a place of belonging.
We plan to use the property to create small, accessible living spaces for family members who need support, allowing them to remain independent while never being alone. Instead of sterile hallways and schedules, there will be gardens, shared meals, and the comfort of knowing they are still an essential part of family life.
At the same time, we will open our land to animal rescue — starting with farm animals and companion animals that have been neglected, abandoned, or displaced. Animals have an incredible ability to bring calm, purpose, and joy, especially to those navigating aging, grief, or transition. This homestead will intentionally bring those two needs together: caring for people and caring for animals.
How Funds Will Be Used
Your support will help us:
• Acquire land suitable for multigenerational living and small-scale rescue
• Build modest, accessible dwellings designed for aging in place
• Establish safe shelter, fencing, and care infrastructure for rescued animals
• Create gardens, shared spaces, and sustainable systems that allow the homestead to operate responsibly
• Offset startup costs so we can focus resources on caregiving and rescue — not debt
We are not building a retreat or a hobby farm. We are building a long-term solution for family care, community connection, and animal compassion.
Why This Matters
Across our country, families are searching for better ways to care for loved ones while staying financially and emotionally intact. At the same time, animal rescues are overwhelmed, especially for larger animals with nowhere to go.
We want to create a model — one property, one family, one step toward a gentler way of living — that shows what’s possible when we choose togetherness over separation.
If this vision resonates with you, we invite you to be part of it. Whether you give, share, or simply follow our journey, you are helping build a place where no one is discarded — not people, not animals.
Thank you for believing in a life rooted in care, responsibility, and compassion. If this speaks to you, we’d be honored if you shared or contributed.
