Hi folks, I'm Ari Goldstein, a resident of Kingston. We are crowd funding to finance a parklet to be built on asphalt below the intersection of Wall Street and Franklin Street.

The purpose of the Parklet will be to create a community garden and public space that will enhance the character of the neighborhood as well as create a traffic calming mechanism by GW school, where young children are frequently crossing the street. The parklet has been approved by the City of Kingston with the support of Mayor Steve Noble as well as the City's Department of Public Works.

We are hoping that this project will serve as a test-of-concept to do similar projects around the city. We are applying for Kingston Common Futures Grant to expand the scope of this project.
