Help us build a new playground in Ballisodare

Sadly our playground has been closed for nearly two years due to the deterioration of the structures. The loss of this great amenity has had a massive impact on the families of our village.

 

The children in our community urgently need a safe, accessible and modern facility to play and socialise. This has never been more important than now, in the aftermath of Covid 19.

 

We have come together as a committee over the past number of months to scope, design and plan a new playground which will futureproof Ballisodare as a family-friendly village.

 

The redevelopment project is estimated to cost up to €180K.

 

We have submitted an application for Government funding of 75%, which we have every reason to believe we will be successful in securing. A condition of the funding, is that the remaining 25% of the cost is fundraised by our community.

 

Support from the local community in our catchment area will be critical to the success of our campaign.
