Hello Everyone!

As many of you know, my name is Destinee, the youngest daughter of my mom, Michelle.

My mom was tragically taken from us 8 years ago, in September of 2017. After my mom was taken, our worlds were all turned upside down so quickly, filled with trauma, sadness, and darkness. My beautiful mom was a loving soul filled with joy, happiness, faith, strength, and, as everyone knew, goofy! She was the best mom and Nana, and just honestly loved everyone so well. She spent most of her life impacting children as an educator. She taught for over 20 years and touched so many families not only educationally but spiritually. Her faith ran strong no matter what life threw her way. My mom was ultimately the BEST.

Which is why I have made the decision to make a beautiful memorial bench in honor of her. Somewhere we all can visit, in the beauty of nature. Take a deep breath, say hello to our beautiful angel, and simply remember the good times. Whether she was family, a friend, Ms. Michelle, or someone who touched you from near or afar, my mom loved and cared deeply about everyone and was quick to lend a hand no matter your situation.

For the placement of the bench, including all materials and construction, it will be $3,000 to start up. Once we get the full payment in, we can break ground and get this project started! If it is on your heart to donate, I will be so thankful. Or if you can’t donate, please send prayers and warm messages our way for the process! Location of Memorial will be determined through City of Scottsdale upon goal being reach and park availability.
