We are a small voluntary peer support group created by people who have gone through OOKP (Osteo-Odonto-Keratoprosthesis) surgery — one of the world’s rarest and most complex eye operations.
Our mission is simple: to provide understanding, information, and emotional support for OOKP patients, their families, and carers.
Many people facing this surgery feel isolated and unsure where to turn. We want to change that — by building a safe space for shared experiences and trusted guidance.
We’re asking for your kind help to raise £1,000 to strengthen our group and help more people:
£50 for a 5-year domain name for our informational website, to ensure members can rely on information being continually accessible
️ £500 for a laptop so we can bring information and resources into meetings, where members can access assistance instantly, with a peer, there, helping to achieve their needs
️ £450 for professional help registering as a UK charity**, allowing us to expand and reach more people worldwide
Every contribution, no matter how small, helps us bring light, hope, and clarity to someone going through this life-changing journey.
Thank you for believing in our cause and helping us make sure no one facing OOKP surgery ever feels alone.
