Inspired by the vibrant Oakland community, Mischief curates unique products made by nearly 200 Bay Area makers. It is a community space with the capacity to host creative workshops, craft fairs, art shows, DJ sets, bands, and other family events that help build our community.
We envision Mischief to grow into a destination where people gather to shop, connect, and find inspiration to create. Our goal is to Inspire the artist inside of everyone. With this in mind, we want to build the backyard space to host various community events and pop-ups for Bay Area vendors, movie nights, workshops, and even a small community garden. The possibilities are endless!
Our goal with this GoFundMe is to finally make this vision come true. Spacious and drenched in sunlight, Mischief is ideal for an outdoor community space. With your help, we’ll be able to cover the initial construction and landscaping expenses of resurfacing the ground, rebuilding the stairs, making it wheelchair accessible, and ensuring a safe play area for kids visiting the store. We believe together, we can create a lasting community environment that everyone can enjoy year round!
With your help, Mischief will evolve into a space that stretches far beyond the boundaries of a retail shop and workshop studio. We recognize that this vision cannot happen without your support.
