We are launching this appeal with a sincere intention: to build a mosque that will serve as a centre of worship, learning, and community support for generations to come.
We request you to pay your £10 to our cause and then share it with your 10 friends and family members. thereby increasing your share to a £100.
Our community has grown, but our current facilities cannot meet the needs of our children, elders, and families. A dedicated mosque is essential — not only as a place for prayer, but as a sanctuary for education, charity, youth development, and spiritual growth.
Why This Mosque Matters
- Daily prayers and Jumu’ah in a proper, accessible space
- Qur’an classes and Islamic education for children and adults
- Community support services including counselling, charity distribution, and youth programmes
- A safe, welcoming environment for all, including new Muslims and vulnerable individuals
- A long-term sadaqah jariyah (ongoing charity) that benefits donors even after they have left this world
What We Need
We are raising funds to cover:
- Land acquisition (outstanding £60,000 towards debt, already raised £340,000 Alhamdolillah)
- Planning and legal fees (£15,000 approx.)
- Construction costs (£25,000 for basic building regulations certification)
- Wudu and prayer facilities
- Community hall and classrooms
- Accessibility features for disabled worshippers
Every contribution — big or small — brings us closer to establishing a house of Allah that will serve thousands over the coming years.
