At the end of February 2026, a colleague and I, who are currently in the last stages of a Doctoral program for Clinical Psychology, have been invited to join a group of mental health professionals to travel to Jordan, where a group of us will partner with several organizations to provide trauma-informed education and support to youth, families, and teachers affected by war and displacement. This work is 100% volunteer-based. Your donation will help cover the costs of travel, lodging, transportation, and materials needed for our workshops and interviews

During our trip, we will:

• Partner with psychology students and faculty at the University of Jordan.

• Visit UN schools to provide mental health education for adolescents.

• Meet with families receiving medical and emotional support to learn about the concept of resilience.

• Provide coping skills activities for children in an orphan program.

• Train teachers at an autism center in a practical classroom and behavior strategies.

• Learn from a Bedouin community about their cultural approaches to wellness.
