Help Me Bring My Brother Tomas Home

My name is Santiago and today I’m asking for help in one of the most difficult moments my family and I have ever faced.

My brother Tomas is currently detained by immigration authorities, and our lives have been turned upside down.

Tomas is more than just my brother, he’s my best friend, the person who always makes us laugh, the one who pushes everyone to be better. He grew up here, studied here, built his dreams here. This is the only home he has ever known.

Seeing him taken away so suddenly has been heartbreaking. Every day feels heavy, filled with uncertainty and fear. We're doing everything we can to support him legally and bring him back home, but the costs are far more than we can cover on our own.

That’s why I’m starting this campaign.

Not out of weakness, but out of love.

Because my brother deserves the chance to come back to his life, to his family, to the future he has always worked toward.

Me llamo Santiago y hoy pido ayuda en uno de los momentos más difíciles que mi familia y yo hemos enfrentado.

Mi hermano Tomás se encuentra detenido por las autoridades migratorias y nuestras vidas han dado un vuelco.

Tomás es más que solo mi hermano; es mi mejor amigo, la persona que siempre nos hace reír, quien nos impulsa a ser mejores. Creció aquí, estudió aquí, construyó sus sueños aquí. Este es el único hogar que ha conocido.

Ver cómo se lo llevaban tan repentinamente ha sido desgarrador. Cada día se siente pesado, lleno de incertidumbre y miedo. Estamos haciendo todo lo posible para apoyarlo legalmente y traerlo de vuelta a casa, pero los costos son mucho mayores de los que podemos cubrir solos.

Por eso empiezo esta campaña.

No por debilidad, sino por amor.

Porque mi hermano merece la oportunidad de volver a su vida, a su familia, al futuro por el que siempre ha luchado.

Cualquier contribución, por pequeña que sea, nos ayuda a acercarnos a tenerlo de vuelta en casa. Su apoyo nos da esperanza. Nos da fuerza cuando nos sentimos abrumados. Nos recuerda que no estamos solos en esto.
