My name is Anthony, son of Juan Maldonado one of 7 siblings.

I’m reaching out today with a heavy heart to share my father’s story. He’s alone in Mexico, fighting a severe hernia in his groin that’s grown to the size of a football. The pain has become a daily struggle, and with no access to proper medical care, it’s putting his life at risk.

Four years ago, my father was deported after a lifetime in the United States, where he arrived as a child. Since then, he’s had no family or friends nearby for support, no safe shelter, and no reliable way to reach us even by phone. The simple medical care he needs to relieve his pain and make his life bearable feels heartbreakingly out of reach.
