We’re Kaytie and Charlie, the team behind Raise the Roof, and we are so excited to be creating an event that brings people together, celebrates our community, and raises money for causes that truly matter!

As our event continues to grow, so does the behind-the-scenes work needed to make it the best it can be. We’ve set up this GoFundMe to help support the essential costs that allow Raise the Roof to happen safely, professionally, and with the atmosphere our audience deserves.

Where will your donations go?

Your generosity will go directly towards making the event possible, including:

Hiring staff to ensure the event runs safely and smoothly

Venue decorations

Equipment, materials, and further logistics

Any additional essentials needed to bring the night to life

We want to be fully transparent:

This GoFundMe is NOT for personal profit, and we will NOT be paid for this event.

It exists solely to support the event, and anything raised beyond the running costs will be donated directly to our chosen charities.

The Charities We Are Supporting are Macmillan Cancer Support and Young Carers via Crossroads.

These organisations mean so much to us both, and we are proud to use Raise the Roof as a platform to help them continue their incredible work.

Why We Created Raise the Roof...

Raise the Roof started because we wanted to build something meaningful, an event full of joy, community spirit, and purpose. What began as an idea over coffee has grown into something bigger than we ever imagined, and seeing people support it means more than we can express... honestly we are so grateful!

We want this project to keep growing, keep giving back, and keep bringing people together. With your help, we can make that happen.
