A couple days ago my uncle was detained by ICE a few minutes from his home. In no means is my uncle a “malicious criminal” he is a hardworking business man, a husband, and a father. We had no information about him until a day ago we found out he was being held at a detention center in Texas.

It’s hard enough to get ahold of an attorney in Minnesota and it’ll be 100x harder to find one in Texas, it’s unfair and disgusting to see that not only my family but as many others have to experience this and it’s truly heartbreaking. My uncle has been here for 30+ years and has done nothing but build a life for his family that relies heavily on him and worry about his well being or if he’s going to make it back home safely, he has two babies and a wife at home who have no choice but to sit back and watch this unfortunate situation happen. I know with everything going on no one is going through a good time but sticking together and continuing to speak up for those who can’t will make a difference even if it’s small!

At first my family and I weren’t going to start this GoFund Me but legal expenses are unjustifiably high, no matter how much or how little it’s all appreciated and will go towards legal expenses only!
