Help Us Bring Our Miracle Baby Home NICU Journey

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,
We are reaching out to you with a heart heavy with both gratitude and the weight of our current situation. Our story is one of love, hope, and resilience, but it is also one marked by the many challenges life has thrown our way. Today, we need your help more than ever.
Our journey began with the dream of starting a family. However, the path to parenthood has not been easy for us. After two heartbreaking miscarriages, we were blessed with the news of our pregnancy. Our excitement knew no bounds, and we eagerly awaited the arrival of our little one. But fate had other plans.
My husband serves our country as an active duty military member, and we had received orders to relocate to Washington state. In anticipation of this move, we purchased a home there, ready to start our new life as a family. However, life had one more twist in store for us - our daughter arrived prematurely at just 25 weeks and is considered a micro preemie.
Our precious baby girl has been fighting fiercely for her life in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). She has already undergone one surgery at just 5 weeks old and will need another one next month. Her strength and resilience inspire us every day, but her medical journey has taken a significant toll on our family in more ways than one.
At this very moment, we find ourselves facing a daunting financial strain. I am are currently out of work, and we are juggling the weight of two mortgages. We have taken out personal loans, but it has not been enough to cover the mounting living expenses, and the cost of gas for us to be able to visit our daughter in the NICU.
Our baby girl is expected to remain in the NICU for another three months. Once she is discharged, we face the challenging task of driving her to our new home in Washington. Due to her prematurity, we will be required to stop every hour to ensure she is breathing well. This will extend what would typically be a 16-hour drive into a 3-4 day journey. Additionally, her health demands that she be seen by medical professionals within 48 hours of NICU discharge.
We are reaching out to you, our friends, family, and compassionate supporters, in the hope that you can help us bring our miracle baby home. Your generous contributions will alleviate the financial burden that is overwhelming us, allowing us to focus on our daughter's continued recovery and the safe journey to our new home.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in our lives and in the life of our daughter. Your support will help ensure her ongoing care and our ability to be by her side every step of the way.
Thank you for considering our story and for helping us on this challenging journey. Your kindness, generosity, and prayers mean the world to us, and we are forever grateful for your support.
With heartfelt thanks and warmest wishes,
Courtney and Thomas Fultz
