Hi, my name is Ray Mafley, and I’m writing this on behalf of my wife, Sarah, and myself. Sarah and I have been together since 2006 and married since 2016. From the moment we found each other, we’ve dreamed of building a life full of love, laughter, and a family of our own. But after years of heartbreak and struggle, we’re at a place where we desperately need your help to make that dream come true.

For over a decade, Sarah and I have longed to hold our own baby in our arms, to hear the laughter of a child in our home, and to experience the joy of being called “Mom” and “Dad.” But that dream has remained out of reach. We’ve tried so many paths—fertility treatments, medications, specialists, and procedures—pouring every ounce of hope and every dollar we could find into them. Each attempt ended in heartbreak, leaving us devastated and wondering if we’ll ever have the family we’ve always prayed for.

Infertility has taken so much from us. It’s left us feeling broken, hopeless, and like a piece of our lives will always be missing. Now, time is working against us. I’m 40, and Sarah is 38. Every year that passes feels like another door closing, and we’re running out of time to even try. Adding to this urgency, Sarah’s AMH (Anti-Müllerian Hormone) level is 0.6, well below the desired range for women trying to conceive. This number reflects her ovarian reserve, and unfortunately, it can never increase. It’s a stark reminder that our opportunity to have a child of our own is slipping away with every passing moment. We’re terrified that if we don’t act immediately, this dream we’ve cherished for so long will remain just that—a dream.

Adding to the challenge is the financial burden. We don’t own a home and are paying extremely high rent just to keep a roof over our heads. Every month is a struggle, and with all the costs we’ve already faced trying to conceive, we simply can’t afford what comes next.

Our last hope is IVF, but the cost is more than we can manage alone. Asking for help like this is something I never thought I’d have to do, but we’re willing to put our pride aside because the chance to have a child is worth everything to us.
