Help us bring our baby home. Justice 4 Aaliyah!

Donation protected

The moment our Newborn was stripped away from us; we knew that this experience was bigger than us. Aaliyah Oshun Bellas, a miracle baby, was taken from our care, the day she was born on June 27th, 2020. While Aaliyah Bellas was in Cohen Childrens Medical Center NICU departments care, Eddie Bellas and I, Nekaybaw McNeal, were labeled as parents who allegedly abused our newborn baby.

“Why”? You may ask this question. Or the famous, “what did you do”? Questions that are deemed reasonable, especially when Child Protective Services are tossed into the equation.

As Aaliyahs natural mother and father, we did not consent to certain medical procedures, the doctors wanted to perform on her without giving us adequate information to make a proper decision. These procedures were a blood transfusion and a lumbar puncture. In our attempts to protect our daughter, while standing on our amendment rights, also, our freedom of religion, we did not know that the men and women of the hospital staff were conspiring to call us neglectful and abusive parents.

While healing in the hospital after giving birth and Eddie being home due to COVID hospital rules, I was bombarded with physicians, nurses and psychiatrists at different hours of the day, who were trying to get me to CONSENT to them giving Aaliyah these medical procedures. I was often afraid of going to sleep, because there was no lock on the door, and I did not know when someone would come inside of the room.

ACS also known as Child Protective Services, was called on us. I was getting harassing phone calls at 2:00 in the morning and knocks on the doors of my place of residence as early as 3:00 in the morning. A court order was made while I was still in the hospital. ACS was in temporary remand of my newborn baby and Eddie and I had an order of protection on our newborn which consisted of supervised visits by ACS workers. They have even attempted to remove my son Shiloh from my care because they say he is not updated on his vaccinations.

It was explained to us that that the blood transfusion was done without our consent, but when we asked who were the physicians that performed and signed off on the procedures, the doctors tell us that they do not know.

On August 5th, 2020, my newborn was hijacked from Cohen Childrens Medical center, by an ACS worker, without my consent and placed into the Childrens Center in Manhattan.

We need your support in this fight to get Aaliyah back. This experience has been very costly.  The transportation, of going back and forth to the hospital and now Children Center to bring pumped breastmilk; having to pay rent, bills, and now our counsel, who is currently helping us with this case has been a little taxing on us in this time. It delayed the printing of my children’s book and our plans to move.

With your support it can help take the heavy load off our current situation.
Thank you, for your continued help and support. We will keep you all updated in this process on our Justice for Aaliyah and Shiloh page on Facebook. For we know that all things are working together for our good. We also know that there are families going through similar situations. We are grateful that we are more aware, of what’s going on in this world. Let us unite so that we can bring change to an unjust system and Stop these inhumane acts for the sake of our Children!

Be the change that you want to see, only then will you find true peace
