Hi everyone!
This year, I’m turning 21, a big milestone for most people, and I’ve decided to do something meaningful.
I’m spending my 21st birthday in Arusha, Tanzania, volunteering in childcare centers with my fiancé — and we need your help to get there.
We’ve joined a volunteer program that supports under-resourced early childhood centers in Arusha. Many of the children there come from low-income families, and the centers often don’t have enough staff or resources. That’s where we come in.
We’ll be helping with:
- Caring for children (feeding, playing, comforting)
- Assisting teachers with learning activities
- Organizing games, arts, and basic education
- Bringing love, support, and attention to kids who truly need it
This isn’t a vacation. It’s a mission of service, and we’re going with open hearts, ready to give everything we can.
OUR FUNDRAISING GOAL:
We’re covering 100% of the costs to go, but we could use help making it happen.
Your donations will go toward:
- Flights to/from Tanzania (for 2): $3,000
- Program fees: $1,500
- Visas, travel insurance, & required vaccinations: $600
- Donated supplies for the kids (books, toys, hygiene items): $500
Total Goal: $5,600

I’m choosing to use my birthday to make a difference — not just in my own life, but in the lives of children who deserve care, kindness, and love.
