Help Us Bring Jiu-Jitsu to Underserved Youth in South LA!
Hi, my name is Nick Haider, and I’m the founder of Guardian Project Los Angeles. Our mission is to provide free Jiu-Jitsu training to underserved youth in South Los Angeles through our partnership with LAPD’s Community Safety Partnership Bureau (CSPB).
We are thrilled to share some incredible news—Mike Swain of Dollamur/Swain Mats has generously donated mobile roll-out mats and crash pads to our program! This amazing gift will allow us to bring Jiu-Jitsu directly to kids at various recreation centers connected to the CSPB program.
However, we need your help to make this happen! While the mats have been donated, we must raise funds to cover the shipping costs so we can begin using them as soon as possible.
Why This Matters
Our program is completely free of cost to underserved youth in South Los Angeles. One of the biggest challenges we face is transportation—many of the kids we serve struggle to get to our training locations. These mats will allow us to take Jiu-Jitsu to them, removing this barrier and ensuring more kids can access the confidence, discipline, and community that Jiu-Jitsu provides.
How Your Support Helps
Covers shipping costs for the donated mats and crash pads
Allows us to bring free Jiu-Jitsu training directly to more kids
Any excess funds will go toward acquiring a van to transport mats more readily and expand our reach
A Heartfelt Thank You
We are deeply grateful to Mike Swain and Dollamur/Swain Mats for their generous donation and to everyone who has supported us in the past—thank you. Your generosity has helped us grow and impact so many young lives. With your continued support, we can reach even more kids and give them access to the life-changing benefits of Jiu-Jitsu.
Please consider donating and sharing our campaign. Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to our goal.
Let’s make a difference together!
