My name is Kristina and on Saturday, November 15th, my husband and I received one of the worst phone calls imaginable. We were informed that my 48 year old mother-in-law passed away in recovery from a routine surgery performed in Turkey.

Unfortunately, an international death is not only harder to navigate but more costly.

In addition, my mother-in-law, Irina, was living in Germany for her job. So, we also have to make arrangements for her belongings to return to the US. We will have to retrieve them in-person from both countries.

As we began to total the cost of everything, we realized we will need assistance financially to afford all of these expenses. If anyone is able to help offset the cost, we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
