Help us bring hope and education to children in Kenya♥️

Hi everyone,

our names are Eve McAvoy and Lia Rice. This august, we are heading to Kenya for 3 weeks as teaching volunteers with the Mighty Roar Project. We are fundraising to help cover the various costs associated with the experience, such as volunteering fees and supplies like educational materials which are crucial for making a meaningful impact in the schools we serve. By raising funds, we not only support our own journey but also contribute to the sustainability and success of the projects we participate in, ultimately helping to improve the lives of those in need.

As part of this project, we will be caring for disadvantaged children in Eastlands Nairobi. Nairobi’s Eastlands is one of the worst affected areas with high levels of poverty and illness, leaving many children without the support and care they need. Without guidance and support from projects and volunteers, many children would lack the basic everyday essentials that you and I take for granted. While volunteering, we will assist in giving the children the attention and care they deserve and which they can’t always get at home. We will help teach them lessons as well as sharing stories, providing care and playing games. But most importantly we will help provide a positive environment where they can grow and have fun!
