On the 5th of November 2025, our beautiful Ceinwen — a young woman with a heart full of kindness, strength, and love — suffered a devastating stroke that changed her life and the lives of everyone who loves her.
In an instant, everything became uncertain. The days that followed were filled with fear, hope, tears, small victories, and an overwhelming longing to see her smile and hear her voice the way we always have.
Ceinwen has always been the person who held everyone else together. She is the steady voice of reassurance, the warm hug on a bad day, the one who gives without expecting anything back. Now, she is the one who needs us.
As she continues her fight in hospital — courageously, day by day — we are preparing for the next important step: bringing her home.
To do that, the family home needs essential adjustments so it can be a safe and supportive environment for her rehabilitation. These changes include accessibility modifications, mobility equipment, and the structural adaptations needed to give Ceinwen the best possible chance at recovery and independence. These costs are significant and vitally important.
Her children have already shown incredible strength, Osian and Callum are running 5 km every single day in December to raise money for charity and to honour the mother who has always been his rock. They shared these words:
“When my mother suffered a stroke on the 5th of November 2025, everything in my life changed… My mum has always been the rock of the family… a golden heart with a sense of protection… Anything will help, even if you can’t donate please share my story. Love you mum, stay strong.”
Now, we are asking for help directly for Ceinwen and her family as they face the emotional and financial weight of this life-changing situation.
Every donation — no matter the size — will go towards:
- Vital home adjustments for accessibility and safety
- Equipment to support Ceinwen’s mobility and recovery
- Relieving the financial pressure on the family during this difficult time
- Allowing her loved ones to focus on what matters most: being by her side
If you are unable to donate, sharing this page and Ceinwen’s story means more than you can imagine.
Thank you for taking the time to read, for your kindness, and for helping us bring Ceinwen one step closer to coming home.
Stay strong, Ceinwen. We are all with you.
