Help Us Bring Alex Nguyen Home

Hello Everyone,

My name is Trung Le, and I’m the cousin of Alex Nguyen. I’m starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my aunt, Anh Mai, as our family is going through an incredibly difficult time.

On July 1st, 2025, Alex went on a sightseeing trip with his parents to Shannon Falls Provincial Park in British Columbia. His mother is disabled, and his father is visually impaired, so Alex had limited opportunities to explore the park with them. He asked his mom if he could walk along one of the trails on his own, and she agreed—thinking it would be a short, easy walk, like a stroll through a city park.

Alex set off around 1:30 PM, but by 4:00 PM, he texted his mom saying he was tired and that his phone battery was almost dead. His mom quickly contacted local authorities and texted Alex back to stay where he was and wait for help. That message was sent around 4:30 PM—but there was no response after that.

A search effort was launched, but sadly, it was called off on July 4th at 10:30 AM without locating Alex.

We are now reaching out to the community for help. We’re raising funds to continue the search efforts privately—including hiring search and rescue specialists, covering travel and equipment costs, and organizing volunteer teams. Every dollar will go directly toward the mission of bringing Alex home.
