BACKGROUND

The Ajuma Foundation Exercise Book Program is a sponsored initiative providing free exercise books to Kenyan vulnerable school children in marginalized areas across Kenya.

The school books’ cover illustrations promote tribal awareness and harmony and help children position their communities within the broader Kenyan nation.

Printed in the thousands, to date, Ajuma has travelled across Kenya, from the arid north Turkana to impoverished coastal areas from Kilifi to Kwale, giving away books to thousands of needy school children in person.

We have been able to keep over 50,000 children in school and provided up to 136,230 school books to over 22 schools across Kenya.
