Help Unite Jenny and Her Dad

Hi, my name is Jenny Chang. Sometimes people say they have a bad day here and there. I have found sometimes, it’s not just a bad day here and there but a bad year. My aunt passed away in May. We had to go through probate. I had my dad come live with me so I could take care of him. Unfortunately that only lasted a couple of months. Now, I’ve been fighting for guardianship over my dad for a couple months now. If it wasn’t already hard enough having lost my aunt, now I essentially have lost contact with my dad. I haven’t been able to see my dad for very long in the last two months on top of attorneys fees in two states.

I have been volunteering at the Food and Care Coalition in hopes to see him and I have been lucky to see him a couple of times. I miss him. I miss taking care of him and spending time with him.

This was the first time I found him at the Food and Care Coalition. I seriously called it a miracle and God smiling down on me because I stayed an extra 20 minutes and found him as I walked to my car! The couple times that I’ve seen him he always says he’s so happy to see me.

I am normally not the type of person to be asking for donations. Last year for my birthday, I asked that donations be made to The National Suicide Hotline in memory of my brother, Evan. But for this year, given the extraneous circumstances, I kindly ask if anyone wants to help, please donate! $5, $20, $400, whatever you want to give! Every amount is appreciated! 

I don’t have much to give but if people would like a plant or a tie dye t-shirt, I can include either a plant or a custom tie dye shirt with donation. Plant is also plant of my choice but we can coordinate what kind of plant you might like.
