During a recent eight-day stay in the hospital, I met an incredible person who was going through a very tough time. Their resilience and kindness, even in the face of hardship, deeply moved me. I realized how many unhoused people in my area are struggling to meet their basic needs, and how important it is to treat everyone with dignity and respect. For privacy, I won’t share their name, but their story inspired me to take action.

With this fundraiser, I hope to provide essentials like hotel rooms, bus passes, and food to unhoused individuals in my community. These resources can help them feel safe and warm while they transition into shelters, offering comfort and relief during a difficult period.
