This spring TBLL has been missing a very familiar face...Umpire Eric (Eric Klaus). In late January Eric was found after passing out due to previously undiagnosed Type 1 Diabetes and spent an extended amount of time in the hospital in a diabetic coma. In addition to the unexpected medical expenses stemming from his stay, he's got a life altering condition that requires perpetual treatment. Eric has been working as an umpire with TBLL for approximately 5 years. Those who have been around games Eric is working know how much he loves baseball and the kids in our league. During his hospitalization he lost over 30 pounds and is unable to return to TBLL right now, but hopes to in future seasons. We're hoping you'll join us giving a little something back to a member of TBLL community who could use a lift.
