Help Ukrainian Village Mutual Aid continue helping neighbors
Donation protected
Ukrainian Village Mutual Aid is an all-volunteer, grassroots group of neighbors helping neighbors through solidarity, not charity, in the Ukrainian Village neighborhood of Chicago.
As a grassroots organization, collecting financial contributions and accessing funds has always been a challenge. For the past 2 years, we have been using an online financial platform to facilitate this. Accessing this platform requires a 501(c)3 fiscal sponsor on our behalf, as we are not a non-profit organization. Unfortunately, our fiscal sponsor recently decided to dissolve, and as of March 15, UKVMA has been unable to receive donations.
We are asking you to please consider making a donation to help us maintain our activities in the meantime, until we find a long-term solution. It is more important than ever!
Your contributions will be redistributed towards:
- grocery items for delivery to neighbors
- household cleaning and toiletry items
- utility bills
- transportation costs
- rental assistance
- other requests for aid
