Help Ukrainian Student & Family with Displacement

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated to my fundraiser so far! This is Vlad Sazhen. He is a 19-year-old college exchange student from Ukraine, currently attending Mizzou where Alex also goes to school. If you click on the links below, you can read all about his family's plight. They are from Kharkiv. After initially hiding out in a bomb shelter, they eventually made their way to a safer region but remain in imminent danger at all times. Sadly - they have pretty much lost everything. 

 

Vlad's semester here ends in May, and then he might have to return to his war-torn country, one he will likely no longer recognize. If that comes to pass, he intends to help care for his eight year-old sister and elderly grandmother, while simultaneously taking up the fight against the Russians, as is required by all males his age.  However, we are currently doing all that we can to help him remain here for at least another semester or more.

 

In any event, I am raising funds for him to take/send back to his family to help with their ongoing displacement. 

 

Please consider making a donation in any amount (nothing is too small or too big) to help this young man and his family. He represents the very best in humanity. I plan to surprise him this month with whatever I have been able to raise. Thank you for your help, and Glory to Ukraine!
