Due to extreme circumstances in Ukraine, my parents and two teenage siblings from

Kyiv, Ukraine, desperately need financial support to move from Ukraine to Canada. The funds will cover all transportation, airfare, and living costs at a new place for the first few months.

I'm going to post all details about every spent dollar that we will raise with your help!

Like millions of others who this crisis has uprooted, my parents never wanted to leave Ukraine. They had their jobs, and they were living their dream lives doing things they were passionate about. My mother is an artist, and my father is an excellent handyman. She taught art to children, and my father worked with his hands to support the family. After attempting to stay in Kyiv, despite the fighting, on March 8th, when Russian missiles stoked a house next door, my parents and siblings franticly collected their documents bank cards and went in their car, heading west in whatever they had on at the time. Being of military age, my dad can’t leave the country. My family must separate for my mom's safety and my two young siblings. We don’t know what will happen to my dad in Ukraine. I pray for his safety and someday for them to be reunited. Overnight the ordinary life of my working parents turned to hell and horror, endless tears, fears for life and life of their young kids.

My mom’s lifelong passion for creating Christian art painting is currently being reduced to rubble by Russian strikes. Overnight their home became worthless and meaningless. Their livelihoods in Kyiv are destroyed now and will not be a place for happy memories any time soon. I want to help my folks feel hopeful again and start a new future.
