Help Ukrainians in ways it is most URGENTLY needed

My dearest friends, colleagues, clients!
Everyone who knows me, would, I am sure, have no doubt that I wouldn't ask for donations unless I was certain it was going to reach its true recipients. A lot of you have helped already (thank you!), a lot are asking how they can help. While donating to big funds certainly is helpful, I have been focusing on targeted help and we already have done a lot! I have a lot of close friends in Ukraine, most of which are involved in volunteer projects on the ground in one way or another - some preparing food for people and delivering it for free to those in bomb shelters or their homes, some delivering medicine, some driving women and children out of harm's way.

One of the most pressing matters for today is delivering free medicine to people with chronic conditions, who cannot afford to pay for it. Those are often elderly, families with small children who get sick in bomb shelters, people with chronic diseases and acute illnesses (diabetes, cancer, viral and infectious conditions).

There are so many people whose needs are too urgent and whose voices are just too weak to be heard via broadcast and get all the organized humanitarian help on time without such small volunteer groups/communities!

Working directly with these volunteer groups allows me to react quickly to the needs of those groups and allocate the amounts of funds that are actually needed at the time when they are needed. That is why I am starting this campaign with a goal of $10,000 and I will post updates as we go along.

Over the last few weeks of this nightmare in my home country, I have already personally donated what I could and will continue to do so, and raised funds from a few close friends and clients, to whom I will be forever grateful!

With that, with the people I PERSONALLY KNOW, or my close friends personally know, we were able to help people in Ukraine directly. Some of those funds went to pay for preparing and delivering free food to people and soldiers, some for gasoline for volunteers who drive women and children out of harm's way. Now I am raising the funds for delivering medicine to those who need it and can't afford it.

Up to now, I've managed a lot myself and asked a few close people, but the more VERIFIED causes and cry outs for help reach me, the more I feel that my fundraising efforts need to be more organized, which will help me be more efficient with giving help where I have made certain that it is needed and will be properly applied. Today, most of those efforts are concentrated in Kyiv, my hometown. Delivery of medicine is done through a very close friend of mine, a pharmacist, Vitaly Sapan, who is personally organizing deliveries in Kyiv.

To those of you who don't know me well, it may not sound convincing, but those who know me or worked with me closely, know that my words matter and I am taking this mission very responsibly.

I ask each of you to contribute how you can and together we can all make a difference.

Thank you ALL for sharing your blessings, praying for Ukraine, making your voices heard, and helping in each way you all can!
