Help with Baby Dolly’s Medical Expenses

Donation protected
This fundraiser will be supporting a very special family -- newborn Dolly Peterman Tyson, mom Danielle Tyson, and dad Jack Tyson.

On February 13th, Danielle's water broke unexpectedly at 26 weeks gestation, after which the couple endured a whirlwind of stressful hospital admissions, monitoring and testing, and interventions aimed at helping Dolly continue to grow safely inside Mom. After 2 days & 2 nights of laboring, Danielle delivered Dolly on February 23rd at 5:27am and weighing only 2 lbs 0.6 oz.

Every day that Dolly is in the NICU brings exciting milestones and also completely unpredictable challenges. After an x-ray revealed a lung collapse, Dolly's medical team was able to get both lungs working well again, and she is now off of the ventilator and breathing on her own. This is one example of the daily emotional rollercoaster they currently ride as parents of a preemie, on which Danielle & Jack have no choice but to let go and allow Spirit to lead. Dolly will be in the NICU until the end of May, surrounded by the intense love and gratitude of Mom & Dad, who are desperately waiting to hold and care for her once she is ready to be moved out of the incubator.

Dolly is a tiny warrior of light and is so incredibly loved already. She arrived in this world with ambition and fortitude, and while there is a long road to discharge ahead, Danielle & Jack are taking it day by day with grateful hearts. As lucky friends of this lovely family, we have seen firsthand the selflessness, thoughtful intention, and eager support that these two remarkable humans bring to their friendships and relationships. Danielle & Jack are looking forward to their new parenting journey, however Dolly's early arrival is not without cost, with the shadow of hospital bills looming over them.

We are fundraising to offer help with unexpected expenses resulting from Dolly's premature birth and the complications accompanying it -- from travel & lodging expenses to specialty preemie baby wares to medical
bills for Mom & Dolly's lengthy hospital stays.  Lessening some of the financial strain that Dan & Jack & Dolly are facing right now, would be a truly considerate and welcomed means of assistance. If you feel led to give towards their needs and help lighten their load, we know they would greatly appreciate it.

Hug your loved ones tightly tonight & every night, and THANK YOU so much for your generosity and support.
