Help Tyler Support Their Hospitalized Mom & Stay Afloat
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Tyler, and I’m reaching out during one of the hardest seasons of my life. Since February 28th, my mother—my world, my rock, and my greatest supporter—has been hospitalized after a sudden and severe health crisis. What began as pneumonia quickly escalated into diabetic ketoacidosis, sepsis, and other life-threatening complications. She was unconscious for 2–3 days and is now in a long-term care facility with a tracheotomy and feeding tube, unable to speak.
My mom has always been my number one fan. She’s the reason I’ve been able to chase my dreams in broadcasting, media, and beyond. She’s cheered me on through every win, comforted me through every loss, and believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. Now, it’s my turn to show up for her.
I’ve been traveling back and forth from Ohio (where I live and work) to Detroit (where she’s receiving care) as often as I can—but I don’t have reliable transportation. I’ve been relying on Greyhound and doing everything possible to juggle work, life, and being by her side. The financial strain has become overwhelming.
I am working, but I simply don’t make enough to stay afloat right now. Bills, rent, utilities, basic living expenses, and travel costs have piled up. There have been moments where I’ve had to choose between a meal or a bus ticket to see my mom. I’m exhausted, I’m doing my best, and I’m in need of help.
I’m raising funds to cover:
• Travel expenses to visit and support my mom
• Essential living costs like food and housing
• Overdue bills and utilities
• Emergency needs as I support her recovery
Anything you can give—no matter how small—means more than I can express. If you can’t give financially, please consider sharing this with others. Every bit of support helps and is deeply appreciated.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for lifting me and my mom up during this time.
With love and gratitude,
Tyler
