Just two weeks before their baby is due, this young disabled couple is fighting to stay off the streets.

Tyler and Laura are a young couple preparing to welcome their first baby into the world in just a two short weeks. What should be one of the happiest times of their lives has instead become a frightening struggle for stability and safety.

Tyler lives with multiple sclerosis and can no longer work due to the progression of his illness. Laura is also disabled and currently receiving disability benefits. Because of their medical limitations and limited income, the couple has recently lost stable housing and is now facing homelessness at the worst possible time.

Laura is currently two weeks away from her due date and is experiencing a high-risk pregnancy complicated by preeclampsia and diabetes. Doctors have warned that she may need to be induced at any time, meaning the baby could arrive earlier than expected.

Family members are working tirelessly to find space for them in a family shelter, but openings are limited and there is currently a waiting list. In the meantime, loved ones have been pooling resources to keep Tyler and Laura in the lowest-cost motel available so Laura has a safe place to rest during the final weeks of her pregnancy.

Unfortunately, those funds are nearly exhausted.
