Hi my name is Joel.. I'm fundraising for my Friend Tyler. On December 28th, a fire broke out in an apartment building in Charlottetown, tragically resulting in the loss of two lives and sending others to hospital.

My friend Tyler lived in this building. While his unit was not directly

burned, his apartment suffered

significant smoke and water damage, making it unsafe to live in. He is

currently displaced and unable to

access his home or belongings.

Tyler is a university student, and this sudden displacement has created unexpected stress during an already demanding time. This fundraiser is to

help cover temporary housing,

replacing smoke- and water-

damaged items, clothing, food, and

other essentials while he works

through next steps with housing and

insurance. Anything helps and would be greatly appreciated. I went through a house fire myself as a kid and know how overwhelming it is to lose your sense of home overnight. Any support whether donating or sharing truly helps more than words can say. Thank you for helping someone get back on their feet during a really hard moment.
