My mom and her friend, both in their 70s, have been facing unimaginable challenges since my mom’s house burned down. With nowhere else to go, they’ve been living in tents, supporting each other through every hardship. Despite their age and health issues, they’ve shown incredible resilience and kindness, always looking out for one another.
My mom survived a stroke and continues to experience mini strokes that affect her balance, mobility, and memory. Her friend has lung problems and relies on an oxygen machine, which means they need access to electricity and a safe, warm place to stay. Living outdoors has made their health struggles even harder, and every day is a fight to stay safe and well.
I’m raising funds to help them move into stable housing where they can be indoors, have warmth, security, and the basic comforts they desperately need. Your support will go directly toward move-in costs, bedding, clothing, and food—essentials that will help them rebuild their lives and find hope again. Thank you for any help you can give to get these two friends into a safe and stable environment.
