Help Turtle's Loved Ones Through This Tragedy
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Lauren Snyder, Turtle’s stepdaughter. It is with a heavy heart that I share my family experience a tragedy Thursday night (10/17) that has turned our lives upside down. We lost a beautiful soul, my dad, Turtle. My mother is grieving the loss of her husband, my brothers Jacob, Coda and I are grieving the loss of our father. His siblings are grieving the loss of their beloved brother and His parents are grieving the loss of another child. His friends and everyone who has had the pleasure of meeting such a wonderful human being is grieving the loss of an amazing friend. Everyone that has entered his life has been impacted by the amazing energy that surrounded him. We are all still in shock and are heartbroken to have lost such an amazing, kind, caring, loving, outstanding, and impactful person in our lives. Please pray for our family and his friends in this time of sorrow. These words don’t begin to explain the pain we are all feeling right now, but I just pray he has found peace. I love you Dad, forever and always. “I journeyed to the rainbows edge and found not gold but you my friend.”
Turtle health has progressively worsened over the last few years, doctors were unable to ease his pain or find the root cause of his illness. His wife, Kelly Snyder (my mother), has been his caretaker, along with caring for her elderly mother, Doreen. Turtle’s only biological son, Coda, has been struggling with similar health problems and doctors have been unable to find the cause. Kelly has been unable to work due to being a caretaker for Turtle, Doreen, and Coda. As well as watching my two children while I am at work. Kelly and Turtle were in a car accident in July 2023 that totaled their vehicle and they have been unable to get a replacement that has been reliable. Kelly has given so much of herself to helping others, now she needs some help from others. She has never been one to ask for help but in this time of sorrow, she could use all the help she can get. If you are able to help in any way possible, each and every donation is greatly appreciated.
