Hi, my name is Tumelo, and I’m a loving, devoted mother of two beautiful boys. I’m starting this GoFundMe to raise funds for legal support in an urgent custody battle for my youngest son, Shiloh.

After months of co-parenting under a verbal agreement, my youngest son’s father abruptly filed for full custody and child support in July. Since then, he has refused to return my baby to me—keeping him from me for weeks without any court order in place. I’ve been left heartbroken, emotionally distressed, and fighting to protect my rights as a mother.

Shiloh is only 1 year old. He has known no other primary caregiver but me. I’ve been his sole source of comfort, care, and stability since birth. Taking him from me so suddenly has caused confusion and emotional distress for both of us.

Since losing my job on December 12, 2024, I’ve been actively seeking employment while working flexible, on-demand jobs to support my family. The financial burden of this legal fight is more than I can manage on my own.

I’ve reached out to legal aid, but resources are limited and backlogged. I urgently need help covering:

Attorney retainer and legal fees

Related court and service costs
