Hello. I’m Olga Oli, currently residing in Norway, but my heart will always belong to my hometown, Tuao. I am reaching out to raise funds to help our community recover from the devastation brought by Typhoon Uwan.

On the early morning of November 10, Typhoon Uwan struck the peaceful town of Tuao, leaving behind a trail of destruction that no one could have imagined. In just a few hours, homes were washed away by the mighty flood. Families found themselves clinging to whatever safety they could find, a rooftop or a helping hand from a neighbor.

Now, the people of Tuao are doing their best to hold on. After a night in evacuation shelters, many have finally gone back to what’s left of their homes, standing amid the ruins with only faith and determination to start again. Every day is a struggle for food, clean water, clothing, footwear, and blankets, the simplest needs that sustain a person’s life. And we are aiming to provide these basic necessities through your donations. All funds raised will be sent to my local church in Tuao -Believers Baptist Church, as support to the upcoming Relief Operation Program.

Your kindness can help rebuild what nature has taken. Each donation big or small, brings hope to families who are trying to rise again. Together, we can help Tuao find strength after the storm through your support and as we continue to hold them in our prayers.
