WHO WE ARE
TRUE Foundation exists to serve people through practical compassion, faith, and action. Whether responding to natural disasters, supporting families experiencing hardship, or helping neighborhoods recover, we believe change begins with us—one parish, one city, one family at a time.
My name is Simona, and I am the founder of TRUE Foundation—Totally Relying Upon Elohim to guide every act of service.
What began as one relief mission in Jamaica has become a calling to serve wherever God leads.
Every mission we undertake is rooted in faith, guided by compassion, and carried out with dignity because every person deserves to be seen, valued, and served with love.
TRUE Foundation is committed to meeting people where they are through faith-driven service. What began as an emergency response to one devastating hurricane has grown into a lasting mission: to consistently show up for people in times of need.
We believe serving others shouldn’t end when the headlines do.
OUR VISION
We envision stronger communities built through compassion, practical support, and the love of Christ.
From emergency disaster relief to ongoing neighborhood outreach, TRUE Foundation exists to be ready whenever and wherever help is needed. While Jamaica will always remain close to our hearts, our mission is not limited by geography. Wherever God opens a door to serve, we will faithfully answer the call.
As TRUE Foundation grows, we hope to expand our outreach into more cities, more neighborhoods, and more countries. Bringing hope, practical support, and the love of Christ wherever we are called.
WHERE WE STARTED:
HURRICANE MELISSA
Although I currently live in New York, Jamaica will always be home. Both of my parents were born there, and while they came to America seeking greater opportunities, many of my family members still live on the island.
On October 28, 2025, Hurricane Melissa, a Category 5 storm with winds reaching 185 mph became the strongest hurricane to strike Jamaica in more than 170 years. Entire areas were devastated. Families lost their homes, livelihoods, access to electricity, clean water, and other basic necessities. Farmers lost their crops and livestock. Fishermen lost their boats. Schools and healthcare facilities were damaged, leaving thousands of people struggling to recover.
In response, TRUE Foundation organized a relief mission to Jamaica to personally deliver essential supplies to families in need. By serving on the ground, we were able to meet people where they were, build meaningful relationships, distribute resources directly, and demonstrate the love of Christ through practical acts of service.
Every donation helped provide essential supplies, transportation, shipping, and the logistics necessary to reach families across Jamaica. Through photos and videos documented on the ground, supporters were able to see the direct impact of their generosity.
While our initial relief mission made a meaningful difference, recovery is far from over. Rebuilding homes, restoring livelihoods, and strengthening local areas takes time. That’s why this fundraiser remains open—to continue supporting long-term recovery efforts throughout Jamaica.
WHERE WE’RE GOING: AN
ONGOING MISSION
Disasters don’t stop happening, and need doesn’t disappear when the news cycle moves on.
Neither will TRUE Foundation.
This fundraiser is no longer supporting a single mission—it is helping build an organization committed to serving people year-round.
Going forward, donations will support:
* Continued recovery efforts throughout Jamaica, helping rebuild homes, support farmers and fishermen, strengthen local businesses, and restore gathering spaces.
* Ongoing outreach throughout New York, serving families experiencing food insecurity, housing insecurity, and other everyday hardships.
* Rapid response efforts for future emergencies and natural disasters, allowing TRUE Foundation to mobilize quickly wherever we are called to serve.
Our commitment is simple: Wherever there is need, we want to be ready to respond.
BUILDING THE FUTURE OF TRUE FOUNDATION
We’re excited to share that TRUE Foundation has officially received its Employer Identification Number (EIN), marking an important milestone in our journey.
We are now actively pursuing full 501(c)(3) nonprofit status so TRUE Foundation can continue growing, build meaningful partnerships, apply for grants, and provide tax-deductible giving opportunities for future supporters.
A portion of every donation helps establish the legal and organizational foundation needed to expand our impact. This includes IRS filing fees, legal expenses, and administrative costs associated with becoming a fully recognized nonprofit organization.
By investing in TRUE Foundation today, you’re helping create an organization equipped to serve more people, in more places, for years to come.

WHY THIS MATTERS
Every person deserves to know they haven’t been forgotten.
Whether we’re serving families rebuilding after disaster in Jamaica or neighbors facing everyday hardships in New York, TRUE Foundation exists to remind people that hope is tangible.
Sometimes hope looks like a warm meal. Sometimes it’s clean drinking water. Sometimes it’s rebuilding a home.
Sometimes it’s helping a family get back on their feet.
And sometimes it’s simply knowing someone cared enough to show up.
As Jamaicans proudly say,
“Wi likkle but wi tallawah.”
We may be small, but we are mighty.
That spirit isn’t defined by one hurricane, one city, or one country. It’s the heart of TRUE Foundation and the reason we continue showing up with faith, compassion, and practical support wherever we’re called.
