Hi, my name is Jami and I am setting up this fundraiser to help my parents Troy and Debbie during this difficult time. Life changed overnight as we know it and the battle is real now

Troy was recently diagnosed with a cancer of the blood called Multiple Meyloma. This particular cancer is not typically found early until it’s ugly face has shown it self. Because of the past injuries my dad has had we thought he was just needing a hip replacement and another back surgery.

Little did we know he was in the most excruciating pain where the cancer is eating it’s way from the inside of his bones out. Because it’s in his bone marrow it has spread throughout his body. He has 6 very large tumors which have caused fractures in his hips, 2 in his ribs, 2 in his back and chest bone. This is a very painful cancer and if you know my dad he will not show he’s in pain. That has changed and it’s now unbearable.

He begins treatment and radiation today or tomorrow at Huntsman Cancer in Salt Lake City. Because of their living situation it is not fit to accommodate Troy to get around in. I will be moving my parents in with my husband Chris and I so we can help my mom take care of him as he can’t be alone to prevent additional bones breaking due to falls. With this said he is no longer able to work or drive and my mom will have a huge responsibility in taking care of his daily needs. He will need to travel back and forth from Idaho to Salt Lake for treatment.

Any donations are greatly appreciated as it will help in so many ways while he is battling this fight. From transportation, meds, food or equipment all funds will go directly to the needs of his care.
