On Monday, October 20th, Scouting America Troop 49, which is chartered by Back Creek Church in Charlotte, NC, discovered that our troop trailers were broken into. Over $1,500 worth of items were stolen, as well as items belonging to the church, and there was damage to church property.

We are hoping that insurance covers the items that were stolen, but at this time we just don’t know.

We have a camping trip coming up in about three weeks, so we are hoping to replace all our gear before then.

Items that were taken include our three-burner stove, coolers, water jugs, cast iron Dutch ovens, lanterns, propane tanks, and more.

We thank you and hope you can help!
