Help Trevor & Family on his recovery journey
Donation protected
For those of you who don't know, I am Trevor's cousin and have put this go fund me together to support Trevor and his family through his long journey of recovery due to this tragic event.
Early Saturday Morning on March 02nd, Trevor and his wife Aja, rushed to the emergency department due to a sudden severe infection of his hand that was rapidly swelling. Within two hours he was transported from Port Alberni Hospital to Campbell River Hospital for emergency surgery. It was then determined he had contracted necrotizing fasciitis from a group A Streptococcus infection. After multiple surgeries, Sunday Trevor underwent yet another surgery for accessment and to debrid of any dead tissue. In order to save Trevor's life and stop the spread of infection, Trevor emerged from surgery with an amputation of his arm above the elbow.
As of Yesterday, Tuesday March 05th Trevor's third surgery thankfully showed there is no longer any spread of this severe infection.
He has now left his life saving journey and has now entered his long journey of recovery of more surgeries, therapy and simply learning this new way of life at the age of 36 with 5 beautiful children. For anyone who knows Trevor, knows that he is a man of a big heart, a caregiver, hardworking and devoted husband and father. I am asking today for anyone's donation in helping support this family of 7 to remove the burden of financial stress so they can all focus on Trevor's recovery and healing process, along with costs of future prosthesis, to help aid Trevor back into his new normal of life.
Any share or dollar is so greatly appreciated from the very bottom of the Plows family hearts. TIA
Stay tuned for updates of his hard, but inspiring journey.
