Help Tramonte Family Furnish Their New Home

Donation protected
We have experienced a lot of loss during this crisis. Some of it has been intangible loss and a lot of has also been tangible. One of the big losses is our house and because of the mold issue combined with our AC duct issues we not only had to sell our house, but we have had to get rid of a lot of our house furnishings and supplies including couches, beds, bedding, towels, and a lot of other furniture and belongings. We aren’t starting over completely in our new house but it is fairly close. We are taking every precaution to give Solomon a safe environment including special alterations to the AC at the new house to avoid any mold growth in the house. We have had a lot of financial losses as well including missed work, medical bills, extra food and housing costs, house repairs, mold remediation, moving costs, inspections, travel, and medicines for Solomon. We did have some equity in our house, and we will use that to cover our downpayment and closing costs on the new house plus a lot of the major losses mentioned above.

With all of that said, what I am asking for help with is furnishing our new home. Like I mentioned we need new bed frames, beds, sheets, blankets, pillows, couches, chairs, kitchen table, other tables, towels, books, as well as some kitchen appliances and other household goods. We are trying to raise $9,600 for this. I am not sure it will cover it all but I honestly don’t feel comfortable asking for any more than that. I will be so thankful for whatever we do raise. And if we get over $9,600 then we will put it to good use. We have ongoing extra costs connected to Solomon’s care and our life in crisis. Also $9,600 is a big number, but please don’t think a “small” donation won’t help, it will! There is a lot of power in a bunch of people offering what they can.

God has provided every step of the way and we are confident He will continue to provide. We are not destitute, but we are stretched and we know that we don’t have to do this alone. We have prayed and felt like this was an area we could ask for help with. Any funds given will go directly to setting up our new home with the basics we got rid of. Anything we get over $9600 will go to extra costs for Solomon’s ongoing care.

Thank you for all of you who have already supported us during this crisis in some way. It does feel like we are hopefully getting out of the worst and heading into a safe home as a family all together. I am really excited about that. I miss being a family all together under one roof. I am thankful to God that we have actually found a house and can hopefully close on it on October 3rd. Thank you again to each of you for following along with us. It has meant the world to not feel alone.

Will you consider joining us in this next step of furnishing our new home? I am hoping to reach our goal in the next two weeks to have the money by when we move in, if possible.

Much love,
Val, Katie, Elijah, Solomon, and Silas
