Help Our Mom Fight Parkinson’s with Deep Brain Stimulation Surgery

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

We are reaching out to you in hopes of rallying support for our incredible mom, Tracy, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2014. Over the past decade, she has faced the challenges of this illness with incredible strength, humor, and determination. Unfortunately, the disease has progressed, and she now suffers from increased dizziness, making it impossible for her to continue working as a server or hostess at this time.

Despite her health struggles, she has always been an incredibly hard worker and a devoted mother and grandmother. Her love for her family and her unshakeable spirit continue to inspire us every day. However, facing the loss of her income for an undetermined amount of time, paired with the growing medical expenses, will be tough on our family.

Our mom is scheduled to undergo a life-changing Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) surgery in October. This procedure is highly likely to improve her condition and restore the quality of life that Parkinson’s has taken from her. We are very, very hopeful and optimistic about the future, but this transition is a difficult one.

While our family is doing everything we can to support her financially, we need your help. Our goal is to cover her expenses from this point forward through her recovery period from the procedure. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in helping her through this time.
