Help TPIU Advocate for Compassionate Healthcare Reforms

Compassion heals a world plagued with wars, illnesses, and poverty. This prompted us to volunteer for The Patient Is U (TPIU) Foundation, a young organization aiming to promote compassionate healthcare. TPIU was founded by Dr. K.J. Lee, whose whole professional life has been driven by service. His deep faith in the power of combining the science and art of medicine has potent influences on the healthcare industry. Each of our TPIU role models has their unique charm, yet they all taught us one thing in common - the joy of giving.

TPIU has tremendously grown its influence since its origin in 2017. At the 2023 TPIU HALO Awards Gala Dinner, TPIU honored a group of outstanding people who made significant impact to our healthcare systems, including Dr. Nancy Brown, Dean of Yale Medical School, introduced by Scott Strobel, PhD, Yale University Provost.

Today, TPIU is pleased and deeply honored to announce that Governor Ned Lamont has recognized TPIU for its dynamic and enduring commitment to improving Compassionate Healthcare in Connecticut by issuing a proclamation declaring July 10, 2024 — The Patient is U [TPIU] Day for the State of Connecticut. https://tpiu.org/official-tpiu-day-in-connecticut/ TPIU is on News 12 CT today (July 10) about this Proclamation. This is a great testament to TPIU’s mission and to its guiding belief that promoting compassionate healthcare is a win-win situation for all.
